Flexi Rods on Natural Hair -Quick and Easy Install Trick!

Hey dolls! Just thought I'd pop in tonight before bed to show you all my latest project! You know, this whole colored natural hair revamp has me wanting to explore more big hairstyles, new techniques and so much more!

Tonight I'm exploring Naptural 85's big voluptuous flexi rod set using fax seed vs. traditional gel or mousse.

Whitney swears by her flax seed gel; for some reason I could never get it to work for my hair during my twa days. I think I've finally got the consistency down pack for this batch of gel, we definitely have a winner!

I opted for different ingredients and oils to add to my gel and I can't wait to share my results with you in the morning.

The #1 tip I'd like to share with you all tonight is the importance of installing your flexi rods on stretched hair. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've attempted a flexi-rod set, from soaking wet hair to damp hair I could never get past the first section.

Ya'll this thick hair is something else, leaving me with toned arms and a great workout haha!

Tonight I decided to blow my hair out using my Paul Mitchell Pro Tools Express Ion Dryer V.2 and Denman Brush. I began with four simple sections and proceeded to installing my rods section by section to avoid tangling and more organization. Its such a different feeling to know that you have 3 sections left, verses a large poof of hair.

My styling concoction consisted of Creme of Nature Argan Oil Style and Shine Foaming Mousse and flax-seed gel after moisturizing with my CoCo curls Moisturizing Styling Cream.

I cant wait to show you all my results in the morning, so definitely stay tuned! I'll also be sharing my flax seed gel recipe very soon!

Do what you love, love what you do!
